Sass Jordan, the singer-songwriter who rose to prominence in Canadian rock during the 1990s, has died at 65.
A social media statement said Jordan died on 2 October with her family around her. No cause of death was disclosed.
Jordan's hit albums included Racine and Rats. She later served as a judge on Canadian Idol for six seasons.
