The Pentagon says the execution of Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan will be open to the public and broadcast live online, according to The New York Times. The firing-squad execution is scheduled for Dec. 3.
If it proceeds, Hasan’s execution would mark the first public execution in modern U.S. history, the newspaper reported.
